Young artists will not have a future in the Russian art market

Maria Ganiyants : journalist
Young artists will not have a future in the Russian art market. The world percentage of sold art by young artists is 1%, often for pennies, which means the Russian forecast is much less. Compounding the issue, most young Russian artists do not know how to write a CV or write an artists statement, and galleries do not want to take a risk on them. Furthermore, an uncertain Russian price tag means galleries would rather import foreign artists.
