Some experts as, i.e. specialist in literature Suhikh, say that the play predicts Russian revolution and destruction of the country. The home - the ochard as a metaphor - would be destroyed. There would be destruction of the country as a big home for all the people, if to look at Russia as a homeland for everyone.
