Red Square Protest: The power of the Soviet Union will be limited.



Dissidents :
On August 25, 1968, 8 protesters sat at Lobnoye Mesto in Red Square, Moscow to demonstrate against the Soviet Union's invasion of Czechoslovakia following the Prague Spring. Within minutes, they were assaulted and arrested, and some were sentenced with several years in prison.
