Kojeve's end of history theory was founded on that of Hegel, but also influenced by Marx. For Kojeve, the end of history would be the end of class struggle in a system which would protect the individual right to freedom within a democratic government - a "universal homogenous state". The described system would include aspects of both capitalism and socialism.
