The future struggle of conceptual art will be to understand the past.

Moscow Conceptualists : Artists
Moscow Conceptualism was an nonconformist art movement which began in the 1970s. Led by several underground artists producing works of conceptual, appropriation, and performance art, the movement attempted to subvert socialist ideology through the works. Often their work offered a critique of the life under Communism, often playing with history and future.
